RKL Tools

from £120.00

This silkscreen print is a tribute to the everyday stories waiting to unfold in the aisles of your local hardware store, in this case RKL Tools in Honiton, Devon. It aims to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, capturing the essence of anticipation in every household project.

Inspired by the iconic pop art movement of the 1960s, this artwork features a moment of suspense, with a hand poised to squeeze the trigger of a bottle (a bargain at £2.39!). With a single squeeze, "SPLASH!" - an adventure is born. The bold primary colours and comic book-like "SPLASH!" text evoke the excitement and potential hidden in mundane tasks.

Through this piece, I aim to invite viewers to see the beauty and drama in everyday moments, reminding us that every small action can lead to something remarkable. The print is a celebration of curiosity, and the hidden stories within our daily lives.
